Description

I took this shot last Autumn on the Labe river (or the Elbe as it is called in Germany) in the North of Bohemia in the Czech Republic.

The town of Litomerice straddles the river as one begins to head near to the border with Germany. A bridge crosses the river in the midst of the town and I took my shot from this vantage point.

My aim was primarily to capture the reflections in the waters of the Labe and work this into the tapestry of the broader sunset shot that was available.

Very nice colours and great reflection! I would have cloned out the light spots that are scattered on the dark areas.

Beautiful colours

I agree with Vasco on the cloning - I think the hill on the right and the line of black along the middle would look great silhouetted, without anything to distract from the rest of the picture. But really nice shot

Nice colors. Would suggest tighter cropping perhaps in a square format to help focus the viewer's attention on something and to help the composition.
