Description

This is the 1st of three shots that I will be putting on to GFX for this subject. Each shot will unveil different aspects of the subject's personality and attributes.

It is sometimes said that photographs can capture our soul. That is my intent here - to gaze into the inner part of us that looks out and speaks to us through the eyes.

This is my special someone, so it also has that intensity to it as well.

IMO, there could be more detail in the sky :)

In terms of light or clouds or both?

The white balance is quite off, I'm reading more blue than anything else. The background needs to be warmed up a bit, the sky needs more detail as what Sublime69 stated. Also the image is quite flat, there's not a whole lot of depth.

Her pose it okay, but if she didn't slouch as much the crease in the middle of her jacket would flow better. I keep on getting caught up in that.

I hope this helps.

Lovely....very nice portrait!
I would crop some at the bottom.

I think Aeth, has has hit the nail on the head.
You cant really make the clouds out, because its to exposed.
I hope this helps :)

Nice idea that you were going for with this photograph. The mood is alright, but it is ruined by the intensity of the sky behind her.

I suggest you desaturation. Something like this: link

The white balance s a bit of, it has a blueish cast, also the sky is a bit overexposed. Regarding the crop, next time, IMO, include the entire hand or don't include the hand at all.

Nice capture and I suggest selective desaturation too.

I have made a crop and warmified the photo as per some earlier suggestions. Still considering the desaturation.

hi.. I think I don't need to comment the sky and saturation..

ther is something about her expression.. at the first look, she looks nice.. and it seems to work.. I think, it was meant to look dreamy.. but somehow she looks a little bit like bored.. It could be due to her posture.. In my opinion it would look better, when she were sit up straight..
